Mary Chiu


Mary has more than 20 years of experience in the investment and banking industry.  Prior to Blackhorn, she was at UBS AG expanding their Global Family Office offering in Greater China, providing investment solutions across the wealth management and institutional platform to prominent Hong Kong families. Mary started her banking career at Morgan Stanley, where she helped companies raise capital through IPOs and follow-on offerings and assisted Hong Kong listed companies in debt and equity capital issuances. She holds an MBA with Distinction from the Johnson Graduate School of Management at Cornell University and holds a double major Honours BA in Economics and Philosophy from the University of Toronto.

Yugi Lee


Yugi, a former banker, fast tracked her career to become an entrepreneur and co-founder for Blackhorn Group. Prior to Blackhorn, she was the Director of UBS Wealth Management, and she managed ultra-high net worth clients including families and listed companies across China and Hong Kong. In 2015, Yugi was selected to be one of five successful associates in UBS Wealth Management Associate Program. She was promoted to be Associate Director after joining UBS for one year and became the Director in 2019. Yugi started her banking career at Bank of Shanghai (HK) as one of the key members setting Hong Kong subsidiary and she directly assisted CEO in obtaining the restricted bank license with HKMA. In 2014, she joined Credit Suisse EAM platform covering asset managers, hedge funds and multi-family offices to provide investment and execution solutions. ​Yugi graduated from the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology with Bachelor Degree of Business Administration in Economics.

Alan Lee

Managing Director

Alan is a Managing Director at Blackhorn, primarily responsible for managing ultra-high-net-worth clients’ portfolios, as well as driving the development and implementation of investment strategies and solutions across the firm based on in-house advisory team’s research. He has over 15 years of international experience in wealth management, across Hong Kong, Singapore, and Australia with a strong focus in foreign exchange spot and derivative trading. Prior to joining Blackhorn, Alan spent over 8 years at UBS Wealth Management Hong Kong as a Director. He managed the portfolios of individuals and families by providing tailored financial solutions and asset allocation services. He began his career at Citi Australia as a wealth management advisor, and later in Singapore with HSBC Private Banking covering the North Asia market. ​Alan holds a Master of Business in Finance degree from the University of Technology, Sydney, and a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Telecommunications from the University of New South Wales.
